Jim “Instant Impact” Kranz

One of the things that has encouraged us here at DealVector is the incredible caliber of the people that have been willing to contribute time, capital, reputation or all three to the company. It gives us comfort that we are on to something special. A great example of that is Jim “Instant Impact” Kranz, our new VP of Business Development.

 

Jim comes to us after having been a National Sales Manager with a great track record at Advent Software. What an excellent fit for us! Advent is a premier accounting software product with a blue-chip reputation among buy-side institutions.

 

But Jim is not just a big corporate guy, he also has been infected with the start-up bug, leading an online dating platform called Matches that Matter. We’ve often said that DealVector is a kind of online dating site for affiliants of particular securities: It’s Just Lunch, or eHarmony, for the buy-side. So again, when we hired Jim it just felt like it was meant to be!

 

So far, Jim has been clicking on all cylinders. Negotiating some great deals, improving our processes, rolling up his sleeves to makes hundreds of calls: we couldn’t be happier. He really has made an instant impact, and is a “match that matters” for us.
