BWIC Be Quick

We expect the new DealVector BWIC Board to launch formally this week. The DealVector BWIC Board is a central repository for daily bwic information designed for brokers and investors alike.  In our beta testing we have been seeing $1 billion per day come through! Brokers are always asking us to help them deliver targeted trade content to investors who care. Investors meanwhile are continually frustrated with the volume of duplicative bwics that come to them, and worry that they will miss bonds that they do want to see. The BWIC Board solves those problems with a single interface that provides a simple overview of the entire market and notification linkages based on investor preferences.  We hope to dramatically improve liquidity in structured markets and generate more business for everyone, and the response so far is encouraging!

Brokers that contribute bwic list data will maintain control of their relationships while getting free targeted marketing; marketing to new potential clients that actually own or follow the assets being offered. Timeliness is everything, so brokers that send their bwics first will get the prime visibility. Brokers can also use the Contact Holders feature to reach out directly with just one click to (identity protected) holders of bwic assets. (see what we mean by enlarging the image below)

Investors meanwhile benefit by having all of their daily bwics consolidated into one intuitive interface, and they can set their notifications to alert them when a bond they care about comes up for bid. They also can easily see which of the brokers with whom they are open have the bwic; one click allows them to email the broker directly.

Just like investors, managers of structured deals can be alerted whenever one of their deals comes up for bid. The Contact Holders feature can help managers just as it helps brokers. Maintaining contact with the deal’s investor base becomes much more convenient.
