Consent challenges

Investors are working with an asset registry and communication platform to obtain noteholder consent in order to insert Libor fallback language in certain securitisations, ahead of the 2021 deadline. This is driven by concerns that transactions without fallback language are losing value compared to newer deals with the necessary language to transition to a new reference rate.

The integration will give LPC clients access to liquidity on DealVector’s platform, and give DealVector clients access to data and news from LPC.

Via Thomson Reuters’ LPC LoanConnector and LPC Collateral products, clients will also be able to receive notifications of outstanding corporate actions and recent pricing activity from DealVector, while DealVector clients will receive news alerts from LPC that could impact their holdings, and will have access to fields for filtering bonds that come up for bid or offer on DealVector’s BondTalk platform.
